Founders
Jamie & Lisa Fox
“The twilight zone” may be defined as a sphere of experience that appears sinister or dangerous because of its uncertainty, unpredictability, or ambiguity. In 2010, the founders of Wilder Reign, James & Lisa Fox, were introduced to one another. Upon sharing their life stories, they both realized that they had experienced a recent part of their life in the “twilight zone”.
James had been challenged with a family illness, eventually lost his wife to ALS, and employment with a company he had been with for over 20 years. Lisa had experienced a divorce, the loss of her relationship with her daughter to parental alienation, and her mother to terminal brain cancer. Both of their isolated circumstances brought emotional, mental, and financial detriment to themselves, their family, and the people that surrounded them. During these experiences they both were bewildered, disoriented, and unsettled about their futures.
Overtime, with the support of family and others, their relationship became a supportive network to heal and overcome from all the loss, sadness, and brokenness. Since then, they have realized the value of the support they had received and the reward in giving it back to others. The value is that it promotes healing and the reward in giving is bringing hope and light to a family who needs it.
Wilder Reign, formed on July 21st, 2020, is a platform for promoting healing, hope, light, and recovery from the “twilight zone”. The organization is excited to provide supportive resources to families impacted by mental health, major medical, and terminal illness.
